So, none of you guys have ever gone golfing and whipped out your balls, and showed off your driver?

I don't know exactly what the laws are there, but I know that in New York, women can be topless in public. Not many do it, but it is legal.

Really? I thought that it was illegal all over the country. Hm. I am moving to NY. Nothing like a cool breeze over pert nipples.....

I have one more question, if a man tells you he loves you and wants to spend his life with you but is on a golf course paying women to take their clothes off what does this say. I have been going to counseling dealing with relationships and he tells me that couples need to respect each other and their feelings. I personally think that if a man that is suppose to love his wife or girlfriend does this it shows total disrespect for them. Now if they go into a strip club and pay a dollar for a dance this is a little different than being at a public golf course to raise money for a family facility.

Did you know in advance about the debatable aspects of this fund raiser and ask your friend not to participate?

Have you made your position on suggestive semi-nudity very clear so that your friend knew your feelings before attending this fund raiser?

Have you and your counselor discussed your feelings of outrage and betrayal?

We always had a rule that stated if you didn't hit your tee shot past the lady's tee box, you had to play the next shot with your pants around your ankles. We called it the "drop trou" rule. Maybe they were just playing with a variant of that.

Noddy,

No I had no idea this type of behavior went on before, I have made it very clear of my disappointment regarding this. I have made it clear that I have been disrespected and how trashy they have now made a fundraiser for a family facility. His reply to me has been nothing, he just ignores me.

Why do you think he is meeting your strong opinions with silence? Do you think he set up the sexy sideplay at the fund raiser?

I find the whole incident tasteless and disgusting. If it happened in Raleigh, I would discipline the young ladies with the business end of my nine iron.

I don't know why he ignores my strong opinions, I can only think its because he knows me well enough to do something more about it by letting the public aware of this behavior by writing a letter to the paper and to the Mayor for allowing this to go on. And probably because he likes it himself, he said he had a lot of fun that day so that tells me he agrees with this type of behavior.

In other words, a good part of your anger is with your man--with the left over anger for the fundraiser itself.

Sure part is from him, but honestly most of it is from the fact they are trying to raise money for a family facility and because of who these people are in town and they have a lot of money and own a lot of property they think they can get away with anything, they think they are above the law. I sit on a lot of boards and not one would allow this to go on. I think my anger for him is that he sees nothing wrong with this type of behavior but has talked to me about how to conduct my self. I like to have fun but I never go over board, but some of the little things I have done he says don't look good on me to do, well what about this how does it look good on him to be on this board and allow strippers, not only did they strip but the women were licking each other, doing body shots on the men and men doing it on the women it was much more than stripping.

We have no power over your local fundraisers.

Why not contact the people who do?
