Welcome, DKDiveDude!

I always wanted to try scuba diving. I 'spose I'll get around to it one day.

Greetings! I was directed to this forum last night, and it's a wonder I got any sleep at all. What fun and information! So far I've been exploring only the English forum, but I'll delve into the other areas as well.

"Hiyall" should clue everyone in to my Southern origins. The lack of spacing and punctuation makes a couple of points. First, I see "You all" represented as ya'll frequently, but I like y'all better since the point is y(ou) all. But whichever yall prefer is fine with me, so I left the apostrophe out. Second, "hiyall" is a (not the only) Southern pronunciation for How are you all.

So Hi, y'all, hiyall?

I do, too - especially today, when I bought some cookies: the village next to us, where the cookie factory is situated, smelled like Christmas all over the place

This couldn't be a better home.

(Did you buy any of the other Christmas things, Walter?)

This post reminds me of an awful QVC idea, Christmas in July. (You all, of course, compare 100x more favourably than this; I thought that I would bring the idea up en passant.)
