Hi everyone! Where to begin? My name's Dan, I'm 24 years old, and I just finished 5 years of service in the Marine Corps on 28 April. I've returned to my long-lost civilian life and work as an intelligence analyst for the NSA, via a contractor. I stumbled upon this site thanks to Google, so I thought I'd sign up and give it a try. Looks great so far! Hopefully I can learn a bit and contribute from time-to-time in the science section...

Hi Clary, and thanks for the welcome. I'm in Hawaii, on the island of Oahu (home of Pearl Harbor). The job's fantastic--I've been doing it for almost five years now, but I've finally been granted the long overdue luxury of working in civilian clothes instead of my more familiar camouflage get-up.
