pssst. . . ok, I wrote my paper, so I decided to check in. . . damn thing, has me hooked already. . . hi!
Hallo everyone!
Just a quick introduction...
My name is Reinhard von Tübingen and I'm from Stamsried, Bavaria (Germany)
My original intentions for creating an account on this website was to post under the thread "German Professors Declare War on English Terms". But then I noticed the post was 7 months old so I decided not to post afterall.
Therefor not to waste having made an account on this site I decided to post in this thread to greet all the forum users.
Herzlich Wilkommen, Reinhard!
"Old" threads are still worth posting on, if you have something fresh (even frech!) to say.
I have never seen that thread, BTW. I must have a look for it.
Tschues, McT
My oh my, a good transition from the mighty princess to a new member from Germany. Coincidence? Bah... Und wilkommen, herr.
And hhheeerrreee's PrincessAsh!

Welcome Princess and Reinhard
Wilkommen, Bienvenue ... etc. <breaking into dance number from Cabaret>
Hi, princessash - still a smudgy Nutella mouth?
Well, and wellcome in our small German fraction here, Reinhard!
Hey Walter :-) I went looking for you last night. . . there's too little action on the foreign language boards for my tastes :-)
Haven't been on the Nutella for a while now. . . but the last time I was in Frankfurt visiting hihp, I took pictures and samples of the nutelleria. . .
Well, I haven't been online much the last few weeks (taking care of my mother and short [very short] visit to London).
Hope, you enjoy here

Is it legal to be called Bugger 20? And what happened to Bugger 19?
Lord in heaven I've entered montana's world.
Maybe I should have named myself "mental"
Welcome to A2K cousin Crazy. Mental would have been a good name for you, but fortunately that has nothing to do with me. Didn't you know you were the black sheep of the family? ;-)
Welcome, Reinhard! Where in Bavaria is Stamsried? As a child I lived in Würzburg-am-Main.

Stamsried is about 20 minutes away from Regensburg if you know where that is.
Reinhard von Tubingen... what a wonderful name! A heartfelt greeting from Gustav Ratzenhofer. (I think our dads may have been friends)
princessash sounds familiar, but you must forgive this senile old man for not remembering any more. Anywho, WELCOME to A2K.
Reinhard von Tubingen, WELCOME to A2K. We have some active Germans on A2K, and I have met Walter at the first A2K London Gathering last March. Glad to have you aboard.
And a big welcome to Crazy as well :-)
