A belated welcome to all the new a2kers. Welcome to a site of civility and good conversation--with the possible exception of the political threads.
It is a good idea to travel to all the sites in order to get an idea of where you feel most comfortable. In fact, sometimes it is good to visit a site where you are a little uncomfortable--it can be a valuable learning experience.

Speakin' of "'Murricans", I wonder if Cree's moniker has a Native American connotation ... that's got me curious. How 'bout it , cree, what's "The Rest of The Story"?

"Enquiring minds want to know". Rolling Eyes

Most folks just call me timber, smokingunne (unless they're expressing outrage at something I've written : lol:  ). We ain't real formal around here. We're pretty big on avoidin' oughtright brawls, but ya don't gotta dress up.

Welcome, pbir, to A2K. I have been thinking about why namequoit sounded familiar, and remember that Sealpoet talked about a camp like that or a name like that recently.

'Course, that could be my imagination acting up.
