If you go to your profile (there is a link at the top of the page to your profile) and then scroll down towards the bottom of the page, there are options to either choose an image from the gallery or to upload your own image.

There are more detailed instructions here if you have more questions.

stratman - you can follow threads that you've posted in by clicking on your topics which is in the upper left part of each page. or if you're very focussed, you can click on your own name when you spot it - and it will take you to a page with your most recent posts on it
