Hi, I joined because I would like to know what has happened to the idea of forming a group of American Friends of the Herzogin Anna Amalia Library, which had a terrible fire in early September. It would be helpful to know since making donations is hindered by high bank fees when making direct transfers. If the intent is serious to create a way to channel US$donations to the Library then please post the information on the site. I will check in a couple of days to see if anyone has done anything about this idea. Of course it needs to be a legitimate, secure site, otherwise it iw useless.

Veggie suet "what is it"
On the subject of SUET, where I live I cant get it, anybody know what is in vegetable suet?? or where to get a recipe to make it?

Suet, I sort of remember it, my mother used to put it into mincemeat pies, some time ago. I suspect it is related to lard, but I don't know that for sure. Have you checked google?
