Is it possible to not exist and yet still have an opinion?

Many claim that they do not exist and yet they still want their opinion.

Not existing means that it is not possible to give an opinion one way or the other.

I suppose it is possible to be dead and yet still provide an opinion one way or the other.

A machine can do that.A machine exists.

Machines have no self awareness or self volition. They have no thoughts.

Knowing this, I still talk to my car as "old Betsy". But it has no no inner spark necessary to respond, or act on my command without my hand. There is no deus ex machina.

No Bobsul. It's the right tense. It's possible to exist, be dead, but have an opinion. A computer gives an output one way or the other but it isn't alive.

Bobsul, many claim they don't exist even though it is impossible to make such a claim unless one exists.

They are better off claiming that they exist and don't exist. It would be more convincing.

There are certain philosophies around the world which claim we are nothing more than an illusion, that we don’t actually exist.

You need to exist to be able to make such a claim.

So we have people walking around claiming they don’t exist which doesn’t explain how they are able to walk around making the claim that they don’t exist.

People who claim to 'not exist' have a treatable mental condition. They are not ******* dead or in another dimension.

Seriously, are you in seventh or eighth grade. Your homeroom teachers must just roll their eyes when you answer during roll call, "Present on all plains of existence!"

Buddhism claims SELF doesn’t exist …..also……Modern day science claims we are nothing more than consciousness.

To make the statement “I don’t exist” is the most foolish thing anyone could say.

One is as unaware as it is possible to be to make such a stupid statement as one needs to exist to make the statement in the first place,whether one has life or not.
