I have been on a second-hand shop this morning, i stumbled upon this quite impressive portrait, big, around 80cm tall, painted over woodboard or canvas on board. A bit yellowish, has old varnish. Seems like a really nice piece, the definition is jaw dropping, reminds me of dutch paintings but im not sure. Couldn't see the back because it was in a high place and was quite heavy so i didnt risk it. Its signed R.Strahsberger, google didn't show results, what do you think? Any info would be appreciated.
@dominnimod,
I think you mean G. Strahsberger.But how the **** would we know, you didn't post a ******* picture.
@dominnimod,

@tsarstepan,
I teach professionally. I know art history and I know what a "good" painting looks like.
