Why don't we declare war not on Russia but on Putin?

We should then announce to the heads of the Russian military, security services, industry, and other power centers that we wish for a peace treaty with them acting for Russia. As part of the arrangement, they should arrest Putin and turn him over to the International Criminal Court.

He has quite a few henchmen around him who believe in what he's doing, so even if you got rid of Putin, you'd be dealing with someone similar.

Many people have obtained great wealth under Putin. During the Ukrainian war, many suffered a reduction in wealth, a reduction in their ability to travel around the world and to domicile their money and property around the world, and a reduction in their quality of life inside Russia.

Nikita Khrushchev was removed by a coup.

Mikhail Gorbachev was removed by a coup.

Boris Yeltsin resigned when his popularity was at 2%.

Gorbachev wasn't removed by a coup the coup failed, the plotters were arrested, but it did lead to the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Krushchev was removed by procedures naming leadership by the Central committee, procedures Krushchev himself implemented.

It was not a coup.

Why doesn't the U.S. order all Russian citizens out of the U.S.?

I'm not sure whether there are any individuals holding both U.S. and Russian citizenship. I don't think we should permit the practice.

What should be the consequdnces of not obeying orders?

Btw, I'm not an American, don't ask me why your government doesn't do things.

I would issue U.S. citizenship to each person born in the U.S.

I would revoke the citizenship of those persons who accepted foreign citizenship or served in the Armed forces of another country.

I was not aware that you were not American.

I think what he's getting at is to stop complaining about something and take action. Get involved. Make a change.

It's not just the complaining, it's the daft questions that lack all credibility.

Someone once said that there's no such thing as a stupid question. I would disagree.
