Achhhhh, I'm so sorry to hear that, Big Ed.
You need to get better soon. Autumn is approaching, and I'm going to need to put on something warmer.
Checking in.... sorry to hear you're still in pain, BPB. <cursing doctors>
Cursing system.
Well, not entirely, though this is not the place to elaborate on that, but re the distribution of what is known and what can help fast. We are all so modern and yet so incredibly dangerously slow, even as recently annotated as in New York City for heart attacks. We are money related, but that isn't the all of it, as things don't line up entirely re money and brilliant diagnoses. Except maybe there is less generative power accumulating. But I speak from ignorance, not having been at both ends of the changes.
Bear, are you near a uni med center? if not could you work a consult? They do have clinics. My first few eye rondevous were at a ucla clinic... I don't think you'd have to go through everything again, just have stuff sent, though I don't know that. That is, if you come out at the other end of these next meetings aggravated. I hope instead one of these folks nails it down.
4:50 EST and after a particularly bad day and night I have been awakened by pain and have to take more pain meds. I am moving backwards.
Oh Bear, I'm sorry it's so hard. I really am. I wish I could help in some way.
I just can't believe there's no blockage! Did that hospital know what the hell they were doing or looking for? It sounds just like the symptoms I had a dozen yrs ago when similar scans diagnosed a colon tumor. How reliable is that hospital? Your doctor? Should you seek a second opinion? Now you've got me and the rest of your friends here terribly worried, Bear.
It's difficult to find a good doctor. Incompetency is everywhere.
I still think you should be in a hospital, and someone should be insisting on getting some answers and the correct treatment for whatever your condition turns out to be.
I say go to the ER. Sometimes you have to force your doctors to treat you.
Oh Bear, my heart goes out to you. I feel so helpless and wish I could help!
((((((Bear))))))
I agree with Synonymph and FreeDuck.
Get thee to a hospital!
If you refuse to go the ER, at least start calling your doctor's 24-hour line every 5 minutes until he returns your call. This sounds serious. The pain shouldn't be increasing now.
call 911, bear. Get the emegency crew to take you to the er. NOW!

Turn Squinney loose on them. No one can stand up to a female bear when a member of her family is in danger. She won't take "no" for an answer. She's one tough broad, which is why we love her.

I hope you've at least called the doc by now.
This is all too wrong.
I would have lost my temper long ago in this situation. I definitely agree you need help NOW.
If Squinney has to take you to ER, or call your Doctor over & over until they see you Immediately, well, so be it!
So sorry to hear about your pain. We know it's bad if it actually awakens you at night.
Hugs to Bear, Squinney, Cubs, and Beaglets.
I'm guessing Bear is hanging on to see the GI specialist tomorrow, and trying to avoid the expense of E.R.
But........ yikes. I hope they called the m.d.'s too.
That's probably what makes me maddest about all of this -- that the expense is such an issue. Shouldn't be that way.
