no choice...the er means several thousand dollars.... no can do.
Grrrrrr!!!!!! #$%@*& ER!!!!
I'll be waiting nervously for some news telling us it's nothing to worry about ;-)
That's one of the many things that gripes me about our health care system... that you can't just call your m.d.
I know, some people abuse that.
I am lucky in that my two most important md's, eye and boob folk, heh, tell me to call them or email anytime.
Are you on any meds that have a possible liver complication? The brown urine and chalky white stools (if they ever show up) might signify hepatitis, which can be viral or a side effect from some meds. Check the underside of your tongue and the whites of your eyes for yellowing. If you're on meds your pharmacist can tell you if there are possible liver complications.

What kind of doctor would make you wait until Monday after what you've been through? A trip to the ER might not be a bad idea.

any city doctor.....my guy is actually a great and attentive guy who would probably meet me at the hospital if I called him but then we're still looking at the same outrageous fees.......
Typically, though, the doctor bills are the least of the worries
true rog, but if my doc sees me at the hospital and merely taps my knee with a f**king hammer to test my reflexes I'm good for a 1 to 2K facilites charge.
Bear, you're playing with fire here. Just go to the ER period. PLEASE!
Are the whites of your eyes white? or yellowish?
JB is on to something, I think.
I can hold out until am. I'm not running a fever anymore, I'm just very weak. I got a sub to do my show tonight, and my bride and my cubs will watch over me.
I appreciate the obviously sincere concern folks. You people are the best.

Have you called your doctor (on Sunday you get his exchange) to ask for him to call you to see if you should get medical attention today? If not, why not try this. Your doctor may not be aware of the seriousness of your condition.
BBB
are you drinking lotsa lotsa water? lotsa lotsa
<flushing is rarely a bad thing, if immediate medical attention isn't an option>
I know that squinney will take you to a doc, regardless of your plans, if she thinks it's an emergency.
oh - and gatorade
as much as I hate the stuff, it is good for getting your electrolytes back in order
