This time of night I usually feel best because I allopw myself pain medication aftrer 7:00.

Glad to hear it. I hope the GI guy solves this for you. You've suffered long enough.

Do you usually scar when you heal? I'm thinking of those internal adhesions--a fancy name for "scar tissue".

basically it's up to my regular doc to decide where to look now and to try and treat the symptoms so maybe I can get along with my life. I'm seeing him Monday.

So...did you go to the regular doctor today? What did he say?

Adhesions damn near killed me in 1988. Too long a story to go into here and too boring.

yes.
Anytime the skin, or any thing else for that matter, is severed, the way for it to heal is to 'recreate ' itself. A natural band-aide if you will..
and always leaves some kind of scar tissue. Some , mostly the skin, is not always visable nor do we always feel it.

Some people have long, thick hair. Some people have pungent underarm sweat. Some people have ropy, grabby scar tissue.

Wonderful variations in the Genetic Lottery.

very true.
My very best friend has had many MANY surgical procedures in her short 40 year life.... and not a single scar on her belly.
NOT a one.
