Enzymes? NOW we have enzymes? We didn't before. Now I am confused.

Dammit with the phlebitis.

Hugs to Bernie - now be a good boy and un-phleb - and tell 'em not to stint with the stents...

I feel like I'm intruding, because I'm so new here-- but I always read Blatham's posts with interest and enjoyment; I know something good's going to be added to a conversation when I see the Mountie show up! So I wanted to send Blatham my best wishes as well... hope he's back on A2K soon! Very Happy

Well, thanks to Bear and Beth, you've all been well informed. Sorry I didn't get to the computer this morning. I was hurrying to the hospital because I wanted to see Bernie before he went for the angioplasty. Unfortunately as you already know, they postponed the thing because of the infections. He's on antibiotics and is already better.

Did I really say "kick your heals together?" Laughing Hummmmmmmm. Bear in mind that some of us are double jointed. Laughing Very funny......

Bernie is very appreciative of the messages you're all sending. I'm remembering how his nose kept interfering with his oxygen mask. Funny in the presence fear. Good to remember now because he made it.

As Bear said, Bernie was much more himself tonight. Energy was back. It was very good to see it. I hope he hasn't overdone. But I talked to him a few minutes ago and he was still fine.

Thanks for every helpful thought and touch. I'm very happy that Bernie is still here. That he didn't leave.

thanks little k. I'm afraid I'm a little sentimental, but I suppose I'm allowed. I think it especially hit me today that he's still there, sitting in bed, talking back. That's good.

As we saw with Diane and SQuinney, you get emotional the next day (or two days later, or when ever the crisis has eased up enough to go out of superwoman mode).

BTW, Beth, Bernie says to tell you that he's warming up his chapstick.

Oh and Walter........please do stop smoking. Don't wait for this event to happen to you. I know a lot more now about how to recognize heart symptoms and that's good. But it's not the best way to learn.

Lola, would you be kind enough to tell Bernie that I sacrificed a sheep in his honor tonight.

The smoke from the charred animal represents good luck and fast healing heading his way.

I didn't know what else to do. I'm not very good at picking out cards.

A hint on future gustation. GREEN TEA, full of all kinds of flavinoids and crap that is good for your heart muscle. Since Blathams diet will probably go to ****, he may as well have something equally vile with which to wash it down.

He still not smoking? good, maybe hes educable

There are classes that we shall attend about the art of less than exciting eating........still when one adjusts, anything is better than nothing.

Green tea it will be along with a big helping of Gus's charred sheep. Thanks Gus.........you're a dear. That will be all that's required from you. Kiss.

What have you been doing lately, Blattie????

See, I don't have the familiar down - even though we have met, we didn't just call each other Bernie and Jo so much.

No matter.

I am waiting to hear Bernie's commentary.
