All good sex advice is appreciated and taken into consideration. On top and gentle and tender......that's me.

And shame on you Dys for even considering for one minute that I might wear a bra! Never. Bernie's hands are all I need.

Yes, JLN.......Bernie's home now. He came home yesterday early afternoon. And he's still not smoking and we've been doing well on the eating thing too.

We're making it just fine.

Bernie, did you see the film or read the book: "The Singing Detective" and if so, did it have any influence on your writing style?

Bernie loves Dennis Potter. And the Singing Detective is one of his all time favorites. I love it too. But I know about it because Bernie recommended it. I'll let Bernie speak for himself, but he says he's been influenced by Potter, as so many have been.

Oh, I adore Potter - especially The Singing Detective - however, I sdoubt not that the BBC television version of it would have been better than the film.

Have you seen that, Blatham dear?

Did you guys see the wonderful final interview with Potter? It was, again, a BBC thing.......stunningly good interview.

It's hard to believe any version could be better than the BBC version, Deb. And yes, I have the interview on DVD or tape........I forget which. But I also have it written in a small book as well. Potter on Potter is wonderful. Lipstick on Your Collar and Pennies From Heaven also remarkable. We just watched Lipstick a couple of weeks ago with my daughter here. She's been telling everyone about it.

Bernie will wax eloquent on the subject.

Don't you think September 3 is a little late? Good grief..........that's two weeks away.

I recall seeing Pennies From Heaven when I was still at uni - before VCRs - I had to go into hospital for a minor procedure, and they used to insist that you went in the night before - LAST NIGHT OF PENNIES FROM HEAVEN!!!

I begged and stormed - but thta said I would go back to bbottom od f waiting list if I was not a good, obedient patient.

So - I roam the hospital, looking for a patient lounge on a ward with Pennies From Heaven on - no luck - all with people already watching some other damned thing!!!!

I did not see that episode for years.

I'm sitting here, laughing at the thought of you pissing and moaning about having to wait for two weeks. When I had my hysterectomy at age 44, I complained with great passion to my doctor about having to wait for six weeks after surgery and he responded with a funny smile and said I was an unusual woman. I didn't learn until the six weeks was up that he gave me a gift, to correct the effect of childbirth stretching, while I was in surgery. The great love of my life enjoyed that gift, too.

Isn't that funny. For us, it's the other way around. Unusual women are we, BBB? I wonder. We must keep in mind I suppose that Bernie has some surgical spots that have to heal and I don't want to be a typical demanding woman. With this guy, it doesn't matter........he does what he wants regardless. Something more subtle on my part is usually required. (And I don't want to kill him again.)

BBB.....you made me laugh.

Eva......you guys are naughty placing bets. Laughing

Here's Bernie, post heart attack. It's a special photo for Joe Nation......that "scary" rare sight of Bernie without his hat.
