Hey. no offence to any major big brother fans out there. But whats the point in Big Brother. why would somebody want to waste loads of their time watching somebody elses life, and them having a laugh, when they could be with theyre mates having a laugh themselves? I'm probably wrong, but there is no point in Big Brother!!

SJ, you have started a thread that I myself was contemplating (but didn't know if it had already been flogged to death on an earlier thread long before my A2K time). At an ed. thread a few days ago, one educator made the excellent point that TV is a neurotoxin. I thought that was a superb description of the stultification box. At another thread (where he was excoriated severely), a gentleman stated that he considered TV an agent of "pudding minds."
You are right: there is truly nothing richer than genuine interaction between people----and even more importantly between mates.
ok den wer all makin a bit of a big deal outta dis big brother thing its only some TV bosses doing what they think is right to make more money and please the nation.
