How do you repair a floater

Hello,
I have a Culligan salt container paired with a Fleck 5600 head.
After some inquiries I determined that the floater system that leads the water to the bottom of the salt container is blocked. I had to dismount the small pipe and fill water manually. Now I can lift the whole floater system and study it. What can/should I do to unblock it and permit water to go through?
