The Rainsoft Q2 water softener will not regenerate on its own or manually. The time does not display but there is power. The display reads " 2 0" and nothing I do changes it. I can reprogram all settings, but that gets me nowhere. When I unplug the unit, display goes blank, but I've changed the backup battery. Is it my fuse? Something else?
Any help would be appreciated.
Your drive motor has gone out in cycle 2 with 0 minutes remaining in cycle. I have parts if needed.

How much would a drive motor run me? Is it a simple procedure or do I need to go through Rainsoft? Thanks.

My thoughts are that the shear pin on the drive motor shaft has broken due to the orings on the piston being stuck. You need new orings, some Dow111 lube and a shear pin. I'ts not too tough to do with the proper tools.

I can get you either the drive motor or shear pin and o-rings. Does the motor turn, not the white cams , but the motor itself?

Maybe you can help me as well. Mine has a lower case h in the display and will not let me start a cycle??
