How come there are no televised parades from major American theme parks not owned by Disney?

@Real Music,
Hi Real. I have never been to any Busch Gardens parks. I forgot about those. I have no desire to ever visit the one in Williamsburg, Virginia.

African Americans are paid to walk around at that park as SLAVES. That's offensive.

There were Black colonial people in Williamsburg, but why do they find it necessary to depict them as slaves? Not all African Americans in colonial times, especially in Williamsburg, were slaves.

Noted.

1. I don't know why you wouldn't.
2. I've been to Busch Garden Williamsburg and I loved it.

Being that I have actually been to Busch Gardens Williamsburg, I can tell you that your statement is completely FALSE.

1. You stated that you have never been there.
2. Can you provide the source of your claims?

@Real Music,
Then I must be getting the Busch Gardens theme park in Williamsburg and Colonial Williamsburg mixed up.

Colonial Williamsburg is a living museum:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colonial_Williamsburg

There ARE African Americans at Colonial Williamsburg who are paid to dress up, walk around and perform as slaves:

I knew SOMEWHERE in Williamsburg African Americans are paid to portray slaves. I was not making that up.

I remember my mother telling me about this and I remember hearing and/or reading about this somewhere.

@JGoldman10,
The first zoos had black people in them.

There’s a line in The Tempest about English people paying to see a dead Indian, like it’s a fairground attraction.

@izzythepush,
You're serious?

I remember learning about a Hottentot woman who was taken away from her family in Africa by some Englishman to be showcased in some freak show in Europe.

English people never saw someone with such a big butt before, and that woman inspired the English to create the Victorian bustle dress.

@JGoldman10,
I am serious, google human zoos.

There was a big one in Paris and another in Belgium.

There is a lot of talk about the character of Caliban in The Tempest.

He is called a monster by the other characters, his mother was the witch
Sycorax.

More contemporary scholars view him as a man, forced into servitude by Prospero and easily fooled by the drunken Stephano.
