Nice. JL is brim-ful of talent.
Hay! How'd you get those?
Very talented. I can remember viewing some of his paintings when they were in the a2k gallery.
oh. Yeah.
So, is it a bridge? An aquifer?

I call it "the henge" JLN calls it somethig like "dawn" or "sunrise" or some such other name (I don't remember exactly)
Remember helping me post JLN's art Kris. What a night and then finally we got them posted. BTW, why doesn't the gallery open any more?
I do JD - good to see you!
You too. I think of ya'all so much it is this damn dial up is way slow.
No but I am working on getting. David has it at school and forgets about poor ole me. But as I have been painting so much and I am getting a web sight I will be needing some speed.
BTW we are planning on seeing JLN sometime this next week as we head home form Utah and AZ. I will try to post some of the photos of Bryce, Zion, the North Rim, and Mounment Valley on your sight.
If you like I can post some pics we took in the Russian River Valley this spring later tonight.
Aaaaahhhh, post all the pix you want of the SW. I dunno where the Russian River is, but go ahead. Be warned - there's not much room left at the old site.
So sorry the Russian River Valley is in Sonoma County, California, wine country. We stayed with friends in a little town called Guerneville. It is about ten miles for Bodega Bay, one the Pacific and loade with red woods and all kinds of good stuff.
And of course we slept with Lord Baccus.
Dys. Just discovered this thread. How nice of you. The painting was titled (but now that it's yours, call it what you like) "Watching the End." Your flash kinda obscures the color gradations of the dying sun. It is intended as a look, from a melting balcony, of the sun dying out. Confusing, I know. If the sun's dying out nothing should be melting; everything should be frozen. But that's art. Doesn't have to be realistic or naturalistic.
Looking forward to seeing Joanne and David soon.
JL
The main thing about your painting JL, is that I see something different every time I look at it. Today it resembles the eye of a hurricane. <smile>
We will be there with bells on soon JLN. You are right Letty all of JLNs work is special. There is a thread some where in this category with better pictures. Littlek and I posted them late one night when I was still in Dallas.
You have good taste Dys, Watching The End has always been of my favs.
and your painting are great, Joanne. Seriously. I'm still a member of the Realm, you know. <smile>
Joanne, I bet you don't know about Photobucket or Imageshack. They are sites you can use to keep a file of your photos, and they size them so you can post the link on a2k.
