So far:

1. Real Music has seen a total of 83 of the 100 sitcoms

2. jespah has seen a total of 88 of the 100 sitcoms.

3. tsarstepan has seen a total of 79 of the 100 sitcoms.

4. Ragman has seen a total of 94 of the 100 sitcoms.

Considering that the four of us have seen such a high percentage of these sitcoms, I am only guessing that we all are probably of an older generation.

I suspect that the fact that you're all American may have something to do with it too. There's quite a few there that I've never heard of and I'm guessing weren't shown in Australia.

Fawlty Towers is the only one I recognise as not being American.

1. As far as I know, I do believe that all of these specific sitcoms are American shows.

2. I also don't know whether or not any of these shows were shown in other countries.

3. Perhaps reruns. I don't know.

The fact that "Curb Your Enthusiasm" isn't in the top five is a travesty.

Too American, the only sitcom not from America is Fawlty Towers.

In a poll of top sitcoms over here Only Fools and Horses came top followed by Father Ted, neither of which appear on your list even though they’re head and shoulders above above most of your list.

I mean Sanford and Son, wtf. That’s not even original it’s a cheap knock off of Steptoe and Son.
