Any suggestions for which ones I should try?
Insweb?
netQuote?
Others?
It looks to me like they just collect info and send it to the insurers to contact you later. Wasn't really what I had in mind. Sure it may save some time, up front, but it doesn't seem worth it to send personal info to some companies you've never even heard of before.
If I deselect the questionable ones, my options seem kind of limited. Geesh, and we don't even have any tix or accidents to report (being rear ended by an uninsured motorist doesn't seem to count). Insurance sucks.
Does the state offer a comparison site? <we've got a gov't site in this province that will do direct comparisons - they want a phone # for later followup - I give them the one with the ringer turned off>
