I really wanna see this. I think I need a kid escort as a cover. I'm hoping to convince one of the neighbourhood kids that they want to see this.
I am NOT going to be talked into Lava Girl.
We've seen it today. My 9 year old daughter liked the
original WW better, and I do believe that this new version
is more for adults than kids. Little Jane said, she thought
Johnny Depp as WW was odd and a bit scary, yet she
adores JD otherwise.
To be honest, I did like the original better too.

Tim Burton is good at portraying destitution. Like in "James and The Giant Peach," the characters live in abject squalor as only Burton can illustrate.
that was a great movie as well... Tim Burton is an amazing director... i cant wait for the Corpse Bride, also with Johnny Depp
Saw it last night and really liked it.
I was going expecting to be disappointed and came out pleasantly surprised. Depp was really creepy but for some reason I really liked his character. The kids, by far, stole the show though... they were really good.
The Umpa Loompas were the worst part of it. They could have been done much better and their songs pretty much just stunk.
Saw it in a great old theater in Skowhegan Maine. It only cost 5 bucks and 3.50 for kids! I liked it and my niece and nephew want to see it again. My only complaint is like all of Burton's other films it wasn't weird enough. He always seems to get right to the edge and never crosses it. I guess I am looking for the David Lynch version or at least Terry Gilliam's. Oh well, the BROTHERS GRIMM opens soon.
CORPSE BRIDE is another stop-motion film like NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS
