I mostly ignore Oralloy until he says something intelligent, or I can use him as a foil to make a point that I want to make.

Getting back to the topic....

The seven year rule is a good rule. It was enacted to ensure that civilian rule of the military will be maintained.

I don't like the idea of a recent General becoming the Secretary of Defense. Yes, I know Trump did it. I still don't like it
