Homelessness in southeast Ohio

Hi, I’m a student journalist hoping to interview people for a piece I’m writing about how COVID-19 has impacted southeast Ohio’s homeless population. It’s important to me that the story is as accurate as possible, but I’m having a lot of trouble finding first hand accounts from people and not just shelter representatives. I appreciate any information anybody can provide. Thank y’all so much!

@Monocoque,
If you want first hand accounts, shouldn't you go talk to actually homeless people? I would start by going to a shelter and asking if any residents would be willing to talk with me.

If that didn't work, then I might try approaching people directly.
