Does anyone know any Artificial Intelligence (AI) Movies or TV Shows?

There are lots of them. Westworld (the new series on HBO) is one of my favorite examples. Other favorites of mine...

Ex Machina - A sexy robot pass the Turing test by killing her captors.

Better than Us - A quirky and quite enjoyable TV series from Russia (via NetFlix) about the next generation robot and her "family".

Terminator (series of movies) - A series of movies about when the AI takes over.

Matrix (series of movies) - See "Terminator"

Star Trek, particularly the "Data" character, a robot learning to be human.

"2001: A Space Odyssey"

Max Headroom.

Preferably one where AI helps humans.

Anyone else old enough to remember KITT from Knight Rider? KITT helped humans.

"Person of Interest" that was mentioned by Rebelofnj earlier in the thread would fit that bill.

I also enjoyed "Poe" from Altered Carbon (who was "Hendrix" in the novel, but apparently they ran into opposition from the estate of Jimmi Hendrix). Poe is the artificial intelligence running the Raven Hotel (or as he said, he is the Hotel...).

He was certainly helpful to the Kovacs (the protagonist).
