Actually I am under the impression that the largest city by area is Davao City in the Philippines

the largest city in the world by land area is Hulunbuir-Inner Mongolia with a land mass of 263,953km² it is larger than most chinese provinces and bigger than 42 of the united states

Actually it is New York City. I looked up on google biggest city by land area and it brought up a site called city mayors, and on a list from 1 to 125 New York was biggest, London was 37.
