The Scopy's use of the Wild Card did the trick as they've already beaten the Maniacs.
To be fair me Granny could have beaten the Maniacs this week, they didn't turn up. Tico, Tico, tut tut tut.
Scopy's had some nice points on the bench, hate that.
Scopy's win 100%.

The Unforgiven are 2pts below Average but have two Leeds players to play including their Cpt so should finish above Average... should.
Unforgiven win 90%.

The Riders have 36pts and Bamford (Leeds) to play while the Mohawks have 52pts and two players to play including Bamford, which means they can't be caught.
Mohawks win 100%.

FYI. Soucek (WH) had his red card rescinded.

My squad was overcome by shyness this weekend and and mostly avoided
public notice. I am bringing in therapists.

I like that Seóirse, (overcome by shyness) a nice poetic way of saying they were shite.

I must remember the next time I make a hames of something to apologise and say I was overcome by shyness.

As an American I wonder about "loaning" players. So far as I know, this
doesn't happen in U.S. sports.

If a player is not regularly getting a game he can be loaned out to a club where he will get to play.

A young player could be loaned out to get experience.

The deal usually involves the club the player is going to paying his wages and expenses for the term of the loan deal.

A lot of times the loan can lead to a permanent transfer.

Scopy's and Maniacs bringing up the rear.


In the Head to Head;

The Unforgiven keep top spot 13pts ahead of the Riders.
The Mohawks were well beaten by the Unforgiven palindrome style 58-85.
Top scorers this week the Riders easily beat the Scopy's with an impressive 89pts.
The Maniacs fell below Average.


Week 26 starting tomorrow 27th Feb sees the Mohawks take on the Maniacs, the Riders against the Unforgiven and the Scopy's looking to finish above Average.
