That was a strange week!
Kudos to The Unforgiven getting 27 points from the back line.

A quick recap on the last 2 game weeks.

The Unforgiven are top of both leagues.
They won both their matches beating the Mohawks and the Riders.
Their Cpt's didn't do great, 2pts in week 15 (was going to play Triple Cpt, glad I didn't).
Their Cpt didn't play in week 16 but VC got them 12pts.

The Mohawks are 4th in the classic league, 99pts off the top and 2nd in the Head to Head.
They lost both their matches beaten by the Unforgiven and the Maniacs.
Their Cpt's were poor, Kane only 4pts in week 15 and neither their Cpt or VC played in week 16.

The Riders are 2nd in the Classic league, 38pts off the top and 3rd in the Head to Head.
They won one match and lost one.
They beat the Scopy's in week 15 and were beaten by the Unforgiven in week 16.
Their Cpt Grealish wasn't great scoring only 4pts in both weeks.

The Scopy's are 3rd in the Classic league, 88pts off the top and 4th in the Head to Head.
They lost both their matches.
Beaten by the Riders in week 15 (played their Bench Boost, didn't help) and falling below Average in week 16.
Their Cpt Salah wasn't great either scoring only 10pts for both games.

The Maniacs are bottom of both leagues. They're 315pts off the top in the Classic league.
They lost one match and won one.
They fell below Average in week 15 and beat the Mohawks in week 16.
Their Cpt didn't play at all but their VC got them 2pts in week 15 and a nice 20pts in week 16.

Average won both its matches beating the Maniacs and the Scopy's.

Week 17 starting tomorrow sees the Maniacs take on the Riders, the Unforgiven against the Scopy's and the Mohawks looking to finish above Average.

The Scopy's have 51pts (7 0n bench) and four players to play including their Cpt.
The Scopy's must surely win, Shirley.

Team of the week the Mohawks have 82pts (1 on bench) and no players to play.
Average stands at 48pts so no doubt the Mohawks will finish above Average.


You wouldn't need to be Nostradamus to predict wins for the Riders, Scopy's and Mohawks. Well done all.

Game Week 18 starts 12th Jan.

Result, good old Lawro, we always do well when he says we’ll lose.

Happy New Year Izzy and it's a happy new year for the Saints too.

I hope you were on your knees with tears of joy like Ralph Hasenhüttl.

It's a great sign for the Saints to have a manager with such passion and must surely must spur on the players even more.

I was, seeing Ralph in tears brought one to my eye.

It was when he spoke of thinking they might actually win it, but not until the 92nd minute that got me.

The Cup started this week.

The Midnight Riders lost 38 - 48.
The Maniacs lost 21 - 71.
The Unforgiven won 69 - 33.

For some strange reason the Mohawks & the Scopy's didn't qualify.

Has me baffled, I can't see how the Maniacs qualified and yet the Mohawks and the Scopy's didn't. ???

It’s not the FA Cup until the weekend, it’s the semi finals of the EFL cup and only Tottenham played yesterday. I doubt Championship players make the fantasy cut.

Today it’s the Manchester Derby.

No you wally I'm talking about the Fantasy game.

I don’t know how it works, but if the EFL games are included then only players from Spurs and Mans city and united would qualify.

Like I said I don't know how it works, I was trying to be helpful, but clearly not.

The Unforgiven remain tops.
The only difference this week is the Mohawks take 3rd place from the Scopy's.

In the Head to Head League.

The Unforgiven stay tops.
Not a lot in it, only 4pts separate the top 3, though bit of a gap now to the Scopy's who were surprisingly beaten by the Unforgiven.
Salah has let them down the last few weeks.
