The Unforgiven and the Mohawks are not far behind but the Maniacs continue to lose touch.

The Scopy's are top of the Head to Head but only by virtue of game points.
In League points they're level with the Mohawks and only a point ahead of the Riders.

Week 9 starting tomorrow sees the Maniacs take on the Unforgiven, the Mohaews against the Scopy's and the Riders looking to finish above Average.

The Mohawks have 44pts and 2 players to play Zaha (CP) & Kilman (W).
The Scopy's have 36pts and three players to play Zaha (CP), Saïss (W) & McCarthy (S).
So the Scopy's need 9pts to win. Both have Zaha cancelling him out.
Can the Scopy's get 9pts more from Saïss & McCarthy than the Mohawks get from Kilman.

The Scopy's went all in A/Villa this week picking 3 Villa players including a surprising choice for Captain.
Watkins who they played their Triple pts Cpt on. Didn't go well for them getting a lousy 6pts from their Triple Cpt.
Same thing happened to me last year when I only got 6pts from my Triple Cpt, Kane of all people.
You just can't tell and does this game like kicking you in the nuts or what.

why do we only have 1 team above average?

The Average does seem pretty high but it is as it is.

It's all over between the Mohawks and the Maniacs with all players played.

I thought for a minute the Mohawks were in trouble as the Maniacs were having a going week.
But not for the first time Kane came to the rescue for the Mohawks.

The Scopy's are 10pts below Average and have 2 players to play, Ryan (B) and Ward-Prowse (S).
It's a tricky one for the Scopy's, if Ward-Prowse does well then Ryan doesn't and vice versa.

That leaves the Riders V the Unforgiven.
The Riders have 38pts and 2 players to play while the Unforgiven have 77pts (5pts on bench) and 1 player to play.
Both have Ward-Prowse cancelling him out. So the Riders need to get 40pts from Vestergaard (S) to win.
Very very unlikely.

So I'd say the Mohawks and the Unforgiven have definitely won and the Scopy's have it all to do to get above Average.
