By the way, while I do occasionally make public reference to my IQ without being prompted (after all it's not something that I'm ashamed of), almost every time that I mention it I'm only setting the record straight when someone has lied about me.

That's not necessarily contradictory.
Having a high IQ doesn't mean that one's interests can't be narrow, and doesn't mean that they can't be misinformed.
How well does JGoldman10 present his arguments? Does he rely on childish name-calling like certain other people on a2k?
