Sex Offender Jeffrey Epstein gave heavily to Democrats, including several from Connecticut, in the 1990s and early 2000s

Jeffrey Epstein, the wealthy financier who has been charged with raping teenage girls, gave generously to Democratic political candidates in the 1990s and early 2000s.

Among the beneficiaries of Epstein’s donations were two former U.S. Senators from Connecticut, Joe Lieberman, a Democrat-turned-independent, and Chris Dodd.

Epstein gave thousands to prominent Democrats running for office, including John Kerry, Bill Clinton and Chuck Schumer.
