Do you mean the power to not click on links to off-the-wall videos on YouTube? Yes. I don't desire to try to watch every video that comes up on YouTube. There's a lot of off-the-wall stuff on YouTube. I avoid a lot of that stuff.

The internet gives people a voice and that includes weirdos and deviants. YouTube is just one online platform that people use as an outlet to express themselves through. There are many other online platforms that people use as outlets to express themselves through.

Why does this only happen to you?

YouTube's recommended video list are based on the user's viewing history, so no one gets the same exact list.

So this means you were exposed to some weird videos because you were already watching other weird videos.

My recommended list is all music and comedy.

Mine has scenes from comedy shows, gameplay videos, and music videos by rock bands, pop stars, and Disney.

I also get the odd bit of video similar to stuff I’ve posted on A2K, but mostly comedy and music.

The closest to fart video is the song I’ve farted by Ivor Biggun, but it’s not erotic.

I admit to watching weird videos on YouTube and on other video sharing sites, like Metacafe and Dailymotion, and on social media and other online platforms out of curiosity.

I've seen weird videos on Newgrounds and some videos on Deviantart. Once in a while people showcase videos of animations on Deviantart.
