In the "Titans" series, a group of next-generation superheros led by Dick Grayson battle old and new nemesis.
I have unfortunately only seen Season 2 of this interesting drama. But I read on various net sources that Season 2 was supposed to host an appearance by Superman, whereas up to that point only mention of him was made, and apparently brief glimpses of him in shadow or flying off were shown.
Well, I watched all of Season 2 and while a Superman-Luthor clone became a main character, I did not see Superman, even briefly.
It seems the Batman is dead, or at least his character, though an elderly but spry Bruce Wayne is apparently alive. In Season 2 it seems a little shaky at times whether we are seeing a hallucination or the real Bruce Wayne until he interacts with other characters in group.
It's up for grabs whether Wayne will don the Bat-suit again, but where is Superman? If anyone else watched all of Season 2, did the Man of Steel actually show up somewhere? Did I just miss it? If so, what episode was it?
@Seizan,
I have seen Season 1 and some of Season 2.
Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman all exist in the Titans universe, but they do not physically appear. Batman does appear in Season 1 in the shadows and in flashbacks.
I don't think DC plans to introduce Superman in
Titans, due to them working on a new Superman and Lois show on the CW and DC is oddly cautious in having more than one live action version of their characters around at the same time(the exception being the Flash).
