I think it's informative that superficial posts by the likes of BobbaLooie get 6 up votes while I, and anyone who might agree with me, get -2, -3, etc.

Personally, I seldom vote any post up or down. It's meaningless. But the lefties specialize in contentless, furtive campaigns designed to "smear" their opponents. They run in packs and try to get people fired, impeached, ostracized, etc., based on slimy innuendo, cheap insinuation, etc.

To them, "popularity" within their group is paramount. They are incapable of acting as individuals. Their sense of identity seems to come from signalling their self-proclaimed "virtuousness" to others who will high-five them in return. To them, being shunned by the "group" is a fate worse than death. Kinda pathetic, really.

My posts (especially the videos I posted) raise some serious questions, but none of these cheese-eaters want to touch the substance of the concerns. They are merely long on unfounded assertions and emotion while quite short on rationality and factual content.

Yep...the entire country seems to be divided in a way that defies reconciliation.

Amazingly enough, though, I see lots of people transcending that problem.

I am an 83 year old, white male...who works (2 days a week) at a county golf course in one of the top ten most conservative, wealthy counties in this country. Almost ALL of my fellow workers and golfing companions (I play three days a week now) are ardent conservatives and Trump supporters.

I most decidedly am neither of those things.

We all get along just great...although I am often referred to as that mealy-mouth, tree-hugging, God-hating, traitorous, goddam asshole liberal who barks at the moon.
