I just read in the paper that the Queen owns 600 Da Vinci drawings.
How would she come about being in possesion of them?
I believe that the Royal Family has had access to astute art experts and financial advisors.
The Royal Collecting houses most of the known drawings by da Vinci.
These images have been in the royal collection since before 1690 and were probably acquired during the reign of Charles.
They are shown - in parts - all over the worls, partly on (permanent) loan to various museums.
