They have all wells there at the water company?? Usually, the water treatment facilities are only located nar the sources if they were streams or a river.
Most ground water systems are spread out so theres no xtreme "drawdown" on the water bearing formation (an aquifer), that would be a poor design if it were so.

There is a pump next door and they have more facilities across the neighborhood someplace. There are two water tanks next door and an emergency generator.
