had anyone ever seen this broadway show? out of all the broadway hows ive seen, i think this one was the best! i absolutly loved it and the singers were amazing! i did not get to see the original cast perform but the cast that did perform was amazing! they've made a movie out of it and it's coming out on November 11th and im really excited!
who's got some thoughts abt this production?
No, the music, lyrics, and book for Rent were written by Jonathan Larson. It opened in 1996.
Joe Orton wrote a lot of plays. Maybe you're thinking of Loot? Other well-known titles are What the Butler Saw and Entertaining Mr. Sloane. At any rate, he was murdered in 1967, long before Rent came along.
I saw Rent when it was in Toronto. Fabulous show.
I'm tempted to try and see it when I go back to New York.
I kinda overdid listening to the original Broadway cast recording when I got it. Most people have forgiven me.
I've been wanting to see this one for ages!! I hear it's amazing. It's playing in New York right now, I want it to come to DC!
im going to see this
my mate is playing a part in it
looks kind of cool
Hi nicola, welcome to a2k. Which part does your friend play?
