Hi. I am a cartoonist and I should know this.
It's easy to draw a character's head in the front view, profile view, 3/4 view, back view, etc. because you are basically shifting horizontally from left to right. These views aren't showing the area between the chin and neck.
How do you properly draw a cartoon character looking upward with their head up? How do you properly draw the area between the character's chin and neck when they are looking up?
Please help- thank you.
@edgarblythe,
Thank you. The key to professionally drawing any cartoon figure is to envision and draw it as a 3-d figure and break it down into its basic shapes.
@edgarblythe,
Thank you for those video links Ed. What about characters that aren't human?
@JGoldman10,
There are many youtube videos on drawing you might be able to search. I may find a few later in the day.
