A lot of unanswered questions arisen from the recent divisive entry to the Star Wars franchise,Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi. Who is Rey's father? How powerful can Kylo Ren get? Will someone very special make his surprise wicked return to the Star Wars cinematic universe?
How much wood can a wood ewok wok if a wood ewok could cook wood in a wok?
I'm going to see it of course, and am even planning to drive to a city to see it in a premium large format theater.
But for me, the most exciting Star Wars news this December will be the release of the Skymaster edition of 4K77.

@tsarstepan,
Disney+ launches 11/12/2019. One of the first series (and one of the most anticipated tv series on the streaming service ... if not of the most anticipated tv series of 2019) will be The Mandalorian (2019).

Waiting for the prequel reboots. Disney is good at figuring out what fans really want and giving it to them. The prequels were generally disliked by fans, so it seems likely that Disney will re-write and re-film them as reboots to give the fans what they always wanted but never got in the prequels.
It will be sad for JarJar fans, but it will be interesting to see more emphasis on older characters when they were young.
Maybe it could lead to even more prequels, such as one about Yoda's planet/species, the colonial history of Tatooine and how humans ended up there with other species, etc. There could be a movie about Princess Leia's youth, her parents, etc. Maybe another one about ObiWan and his parents' generation, how he discovered the Force and came into contact with the Jedi, etc.
