Ick!
What were they thinking?
To think this is what they started with:
It took them years to finally get the car right and they go and ruin it. That new body style sucks. Buck toothed and a rear end only a mother could love.
Yea, it looks like a Honda Accord or something.
But I've never been a big fan of the 3-series sedans, always liked the lines of the coupes a lot better. Plus, every generation 3-series, the first year sedan is always the most bland. So maybe next year's and the coupe will have that "edge" to it.
I miss my 323ci.
The 645ci is amazing though....so they're still making some great looking cars.
You're right about the coupe/sedan thing, but I haven't been able to find an '06 coupe to post a pic of.
Because they come out with the coupe second year of production...they're not out yet.
For example, in 99 the E46 sedan was out, but the coupe of that year was an E36. So an '06 coupe is still the E46.
In the latest "BMW Magazine" they highlight the 3-series and the "centerfold" looks like they took a picture of my E30 (with lots of airbrushing).
I used to see a really nice E30 M3 on my way to my old job driving, those are cool looking cars. Flared out fenders, nice exhaust.
