Hello all,
I'm new to messing around with electrical items and not sure where to shop for what I need. I have some old aircraft pushbutton switches which are wired in very fine gauge wire, not sure what size, maybe 30 awg or smaller? Anyway, I need to connect these wires to longer leads and all I have is 22 awg. Does anyone have an idea of where to find really small gauge electrical components? The smallest I can find searching the web is 22 - 24 step down butt connectors, but 24 will still be too large. Shaking my head on this one, any help would be appreciated. Thanks. jjd

@jonjdoe,
Use a connector of the larger size and run the smaller size all the way through. Tie or glue the connectors down because small wires can't stand much pulling or vibration.

@roger,
Thanks. I spent my Air Force hitch teaching this subject.
