Are there any comics characters who derive their powers and abilities from recycling materials?

@Linkat,
How old is your kid, if I may ask? Is he/she in elementary school?

nope not in elementary - I found it a good topic for my daughter as she is interested in the environment so it fit her personality.

I thought it an interesting twist if she were to do a creative topic on the subject. Many other individuals on here have mentioned creative ideas and I asked similar if I could "steal" their idea. Not to earn money - but great thoughts when the kids are given a project. I believe farmerman recently had a suggestion for someone else and I asked if I could steal this thought for a potential future project in school.

None of my kids are interested in this sort of career - but I do know a close friend who has a child in college that is looking to work in this field --- hmmm maybe I will give her this thought - she is very creative and potentially could make millions on it.

@JGoldman10,
Why do have a problem with a grade school student using this idea as a writing prompt?

It is very likely that the student's creation will be nothing like what you will create.

@Rebelofnj,
Exactly, if he's getting angry over something as silly as this where does he go with the serious stuff? It's not healthy.

@Rebelofnj,
You missed what I said to Linkat:

I doubt your kid is going to produce some professional-level material. I am not concerned about that.

I am not sure, but I think you or someone else referred to me as an "angry little man" before. I think I recall someone posting this crap in reference to me about a decade ago.

@JGoldman10,
You're acting angrily, resorting to capitals whenever a conversation isn't going your way.

@JGoldman10,
I read the thread.

But why are you upset over someone using your idea and telling them to get their own ideas?

@Rebelofnj,
I'm not upset. I was a little annoyed someone was infringing on my idea.

@Linkat,
Define, or elaborate on what you mean by "little". I am Gen X. Gen-Xers are NOT "little".

Truly one of the more idiotic things you've written.

Being part of a generation does not make you a big person. There are many diminutive folks born during the time of that generation.

@Sturgis,
I am talking AGE-WISE. People in their 40's are not "little".

If you're referring to stature, I am 6 foot and 3 inches tall.

@Sturgis,
Or, do you call yourself, trying to make some kind of jab at my maturity level?

I have matured since I lasted posted on this site about a decade ago.

I think these are refer the most to you (at least to things you have posted):

He acts like a child, a teenager, or a person who is much younger than he is. He might throw temper tantrums.

He is often passive-aggressive, meaning he has a tendency to engage in an indirect expression of hostility through acts such as subtle insults, sullen behavior, stubbornness, or a deliberate failure to accomplish required tasks.

He is a narcissist or exhibits a childish selfishness.

just in regard to temper tantrums - I really don't know about the rest of your life --- comic characters though do sound more child-like.

@JGoldman10,
Are you also wet 'n wild?

You want a cigarette?
Sure!
Hey, those are my guys!
I don't want to lie by a sweet water pool
Give my kin survival
Don't want to look at a body in the water and see something that I shouldn't ought to
A birth this day and I didn't make good to give myself a ******* say
I hung around, playing in the middle of nowhere
I knew that I would never return
I'm gonna get some searchlights, put ‘em on my car
Take it down to the edge of town, make it see a zillion stars
Hey, those are my guys! Those are my guys!
You say that you wanna be a mommy, but I wanna be wet and wild
If I can have all I want I'd have spaceout man-child
Man, I spell it, M-A-N
Hey, those are my guys!
If you'd just say you was a very good woMAN
Oh, man
If you'd just say you was a very good woman, and it would bring a family together
But I couldn't look
I couldn't look
I kissed her once - her lips were like ice
I kissed her twice - it was twice as nice
And they took her away
They took her away
Take it to your place that it caught on fire
Take it to the place it just was now
Take it to your place and my desire
Never, ever, ever go
If I wanted for you love, I'd take it
And if I wanted for your love, I'd break it
And if I wanted more money I'd shake it
I wanted much more than something though
I just don't know what I've done
