After several days of gentle nagging I liberated a roll of duct tape from Mr. Noddy's shop and repaired several file boxes and the check register (I will not pay $15 for a new check register).

I'm very fond of duct tape. Are you?

I don't tape ducks. They're annoying enough as it is, without all that squawkin' and afloppin' around . . .

It is even better now that 3M has come out with the clear duct tape. You can see the colourful plummage of the ducks after you tape them.

Last week, I - ahem; drum roll, please - used some duct tape on an actual duct. I feel so fulfilled.
