Trump threatens Iran, then backs off. Create a problem, then solve it, all by himself. Unstable genius. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XL3DMcslX3c

Help is available for people who suffer from TDS. Some clinics even offer electroshock therapy.

@farmerman,
Trump is an expert in creating a crisis, then solving it. That's how he continues to be in the news. He loves his name in print. Nothing else matters to him. Tariffs, anyone? How about that border wall that Mexico is going to pay for?

@cicerone imposter,
Political conning is Trump’s genius. It’s this genius – when combined with his utter stupidity in every other dimension of his being – that poses the greatest danger to America and the world.

He’s always been a conman. He conned hundreds of young people and their parents into paying to attend his near worthless Trump University. He conned banks into lending him more money even after he repeatedly failed to pay them. He conned contractors to work for them and then stiffed them.

By his own account, in 1976, when Trump was starting his career, he was worth about $200 million, much of it from his father. Today he says he’s worth some $8 billion. If he’d just put the original $200 million into an index fund and reinvested the dividends, he’d be worth $12 billion today.
But he’s been a great political conman. He conned 62,979,879 Americans to vote for him in November 2016 by getting them to believe his lies about Mexicans, Muslims, African-Americans, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and all the “wonderful,” “beautiful” things he’d do for the people who’d support him.

And he’s still conning most of them.

@HabibUrrehman,
His (stable) genius won him the title of "worst president in history." Trump can't be a danger to this country or the world, because he has to contend with congress. Sure, congress is pro-Trump, but look at all the Trump soldiers who have died a short death in politics. Some were smart enough to resign, but not many. Congress' first duty is to the US Constitution; some learned the hard way. https://www.rawstory.com/2019/05/james-comey-obliterates-bill-barrs-reputation-in-brutal-op-ed-trump-has-eaten-your-soul/.

Attorney General William Barr said in a CBS News interview that he is unconcerned about his reputation in politics, stating flatly, “Everyone dies.”

Democrats have called for Barr to resign over his handling of the Mueller report on Russian collusion, alleging that he is engaged in a “cover-up” on behalf of President Donald Trump. Democratic Sen. Kamala Harris, for example, accused Barr of misleading the public about whether or not the president obstructed justice. Barr explained in the interview, which aired in full on Friday, that he expected to get blowback if he were “behaving responsibly” as attorney general because the U.S. is currently in a hyper-politicized state.

“Nowadays, people don’t care about the merits or the substance, they only care about who it helps,” Barr said. “Everything is gauged by politics.”

“Everyone dies,” Barr replied when asked if he is worried about his reputation crumbling at the end of his career. “I don’t believe in the Homeric idea that, you know, immortality comes from having odes sung about you over the centuries.”

Barr also pushed back on the idea that Trump is at all responsible for undermining democratic institutions, instead pinning the blame on the “resist” crowd using investigations and allegations of criminality to remove Trump from office.

“I think one of the ironies today is that people are saying that it’s President Trump that’s shredding our institutions. I see no evidence of that,” he said. “From my perspective, the idea of resisting a democratically elected president and basically throwing everything at him and really changing the norms on the grounds that we have to stop this president — that’s where the shredding of our norms and our institutions is occurring.”

Barr’s interview with CBS came just after special counsel Robert Mueller gave a rare press statement about the conclusion of his investigation. Mueller seemed to push back on characterizations of Barr in that statement, indicating that he believes Barr acted in “good faith” by waiting to release his full report.

Yes, Mr Barr, everybody dies, but politicians remain in the history books of this country. You have lost all ethics and common sense in your defense of the con, Donald Trump. What a sad ending to a supposed pristine past. It's not only you who will suffer; all your family members must live with this shame - of which you seem to lack.
