And let's not forget Floyd Pepper of the Electric Mayhem.

Oh and somebody mentioned to me yesterday what I thought was an excellent choice - Peter Hook from New Order and before that, Joy Division.

Joy Division's rhythm section was brilliant.

How's about Larry Graham (Sly and the Family Stone).

I was going to mention him if no one else had. Mr. Graham was even stronger in his own group after Sly, Graham Central Station.

Also, Marshall Jones from the Ohio Players.

Ya gotta count the funk bands! Bootsy, altho' great, wasn't the only one.

And while we're on the subject of 80s post-punk, let's throw Public Image Ltd.'s Jah Wobble into the mix.

Henry Rollins was a big name in 80s post punk. My younger brother was his bassist on two albums.

The first version of Rollins Band. (Right after Henry Rollins left Black Flag, he made 2 albums. My brother played bass on both albums.) My brother's name is Bernie Wandel.

I wonder how many people caught that obscure reference, panzade.

Only so many members watch bad movies.

The movie is "My Cousin Vinny". The film won an Academy Award (Marisa Tomei). The only movie Gus has seen is "Old Yeller".
