A cold black night
Frozen in the abyss that is my mind
Not a star in sight
Just a stretch of endless black
At first it fills my heart with sorrow
Then a rush of joy replaces it
I embrace the eternal darkness
And it embraces me
I dance with the shadows
And our sorrow intertwines
The dark spirit enters my soul
And my heart becomes heavy
So heavy, it drags me down
I scream for the darkness to catch me,
Cradle me as it once did,
But it can't,
I can't be saved by the darkness
Because I've become it
being vs. nothingness
we remember the nothingness of before
remember it led to the light
entering the new nothingness
will not bring us back
