So, listen, the whole area of that ranch is gorgeous, that land around highway 46 is one of my favorite areas of California.




The 'castle' is interesting.. I remember this stupendous dining area..
I saw it quite a while ago, might be pickier about the architecture now.

That indoor pool area was dark for me, the nightblind one, and seems by the photo I showed, which I should give a link credit to, to be dark for anyone.

Ugh, looks like I stretched the page. But.. you don't find San Simeon on a lot of the maps immediately available on google, in smallish size, for California.

Oh, good, it didn't stretch.

Now I see it - I didn't find mention of it in the text - but there IS a library.
I'd wondered, it would make sense that there was one, and I probably saw it, back in the seventies.
