Looks a bit like the trams in Budapest, but they were orange, I think.

There was also always a pervading smell of garlic and alcohol in the mornings, which always woke me up. Very Happy

It's Budapest. This was many years ago, so I'm not sure whether they changed their colors. I'll be back in Budapest next month.

I searched all the Balkan Countries for greens trams, the only ones of that colour I located were in Sofia, Bulgaria.

I was in Sophia, but that was a different trip (2007). I did Hungary in 2004 and 2006.

Be sure to go to the Gellert baths, if you have time to spare. Opulent art nouveau luxury at its best.

I've seen pictures of those baths; quite ornate with columns. Wasn't planning on taking my swim trunks, but may take it along just in case. Mr. Green
