Well shucks. I think I'm right, but maybe not. All rocks look much alike to me. I simply went to Google and entered "Italy Pink Panther", got some place names from the first few sites and then went to Google's images.

And I'm making a habit lately of swooping in after Letty has laid all the groundwork.

Well, in fact, it is in the Sahara. But I want to narrow it down a bit more -- to the country and perhaps the nearest town.

Tico, the reason that I was confused is because parts of the Sahara are on the Atlantic and I think you indicated that was not true. Frankly, I thought the movie was really confusing.
